    Avoid "Gotcha" Grading

    Grading is one of those fundamental realities that teachers must all deal with. Most classroom teachers are told that to show rigor, to promote student buy-in, or to meet administrative expectations they must give letter grades for their assignments. Grading in PBL is a lot like the ugly, dank, gloomy, parking structure next to the sports stadium or the art museum. People don’t show up for the parking garage and most of the people who use it would like to pretend that it does
